AccuBoost embraces latest clinical publication on Non-Invasive Breast Brachytherapy (NIBB)

Advanced Radiation Therapy, developers of the AccuBoost partial breast brachytherapy technology, announced the results of a recent study comparing the delivery of the boost portion of whole breast radiation therapy with Non-Invasive Breast Brachytherapy (NIBB) vs. electrons.  The publication entitled ”Breast Boost Using Noninvasive Image-Guided Breast Brachytherapy vs. External Beam: A 2:1 Matched-Pair Analysis” was authored by Kara Leonard, MD et al. from Rhode Island Hospital and was published in the Journal Clinical Breast Cancer.  The study reported significant reductions in both Acute and Late toxicity.
