AccuBoost Enters Contract with Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego

AccuBoost, the innovator for partial breast brachytherapy technology, is pleased to announce that Moores Cancer Center at the University of California, San Diego(UCSD) has signed a contract to bring the AccuBoost technology to its patients starting this January. UCSD is one of the leading teaching hospitals in the country. Drs. John Einck and Catheryn Yashar will lead the AccuBoost offering at this center.

AccuBoost is the mammography-guided non-invasive brachytherapy procedure for patients with early-stage breast cancer. The procedure may be employed as a boost to the tumor bed or as a monotherapy option for Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation (APBI).
