Computed Radiography (CR) Station
The CR station provides radiographic images of the lumpectomy cavity (and/or implanted fiducial markers) for cavity/ margin localization at the beginning of each fraction. The CR system can also record the exit dose distribution and provide information on the therapeutic dose. This feature of the system (the so-called dose guided radiation therapy - DGRT) is used for making intra-procedural corrections and for data archiving. Images taken by the CR station can be digitally stored and transferred to other workstations.
